  This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in the valley. We will go here every time we're in town from here on out.
  We were a little scared because we had heard that they are "all about mushrooms" (and i'm not the world's biggest mushroom fan). And while most dishes do incorporate mushrooms somehow, it is done with purpose and elegance.
  You can navigate through the tasting menu with as heavy or as light on mushrooms as you want.
  Aside from all that, the staff is attentive and helpful.
  And the food really is amazing.

  Our group of four had an excellent experience at the Joel Palmer House! Great food, attentive and friendly service and very good local wine. Mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms!! The chef/owner was very friendly and knowledgable and we enjoyed our conversation with him. It's definitely worth the drive from the Portland/Vancouver area. Also excellent wine tasting in the area nearby.
